Microsoft Windows 8 was the first version of windows to embrace the windows metro Tile layout and provide specialized support for touch devices. Microsoft Windows 10 was released July 29th 2015 and came with considerable improvements. The most notable was bring back the beloved start bar from the Windows 7 era. Windows 10 has continued to receive considerable updates and now runs as a single OS on computers, phones, gaming devices and tablets. Windows 10 also includes Cortana, Microsoft's version of the voice assistant similar to other competing voice recognition products. Fun Fact: Cortana is a character from the popular Microsoft Game "Halo" where she assists the main character Master Chief as his AI assistant.
